Elon Musk Ends Role as Trump Government Efficiency Adviser

Elon Musk's role as a special government employee and adviser to President Donald Trump has come to an end, marking the conclusion of his leadership at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). During his tenure, Musk aimed to cut federal government waste and staff but faced significant challenges, including internal government resistance and criticism of Trump's tax bill, which Musk described as worsening the national deficit.
