Texas Rangers Defeat Pirates 4-3

Corey Seager led the Texas Rangers to a 4-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates by hitting two home runs and driving in four runs. His nine homers in August now tie him for the major league lead. José Ureña contributed four scoreless innings in relief, while Kirby Yates secured his 22nd save of the season. The Rangers have now won consecutive games for the first time since a four-game sweep in July, while the Pirates have lost 12 of their last 14 games. Jared Triolo hit a three-run homer for Pittsburgh, but it wasn't enough to change their fortunes. The Rangers' Dane Dunning, returning from injury, was charged with three runs in his start.
