House Oversight Committee Holds Public Hearing on IRS Whistleblowers' Allegations

The US House of Representatives' oversight committee heard testimony from two whistleblowers that the Department of Justice (DoJ) manipulated an investigation into Hunter Biden's foreign business deals. The two whistleblowers claimed that the DoJ had instructed the IRS to limit its investigation to the foreign agent registration of Hunter Biden, and not pursue a wider range of possible tax violations. They called for a special counsel to investigate the wider range of issues. The hearing also saw a third whistleblower testify that he had evidence of criminal activity at the highest levels of government.
