Meanwhile, Masoud Pezeshkian will be sworn in as Iran's ninth president after winning a snap election following the death of Ebrahim Raisi. Pezeshkian, a reformist, has received the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei's endorsement, who urged him to focus on strengthening ties with neighboring countries. However, Pezeshkian's ability to implement significant reforms may be limited due to the concentrated power of the Supreme Leader.
