Uxbridge Triple Stabbing Kills One; Suspect Arrested

A triple stabbing on Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, at about 5pm on Monday left a 49-year-old dog walker dead, a 45-year-old man with life-changing injuries, and a 14-year-old boy with non-life-threatening wounds. A 22-year-old Afghan national was pursued and tasered by officers and arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder; footage of the arrest has circulated online. Reporting and Home Office records indicate the suspect arrived in the UK in a lorry in 2020, was granted asylum and leave to remain in 2022, and is not living in Home Office accommodation. Police say the attack is not being treated as terrorism and detectives are investigating any relationship between the suspect and the victims while appealing for witnesses. Forensic teams remain at the scene, a heavy police presence continues to reassure the community, and specially trained officers are supporting the victim’s family.
