Rep. Cory Mills Probed for Alleged Assault Incident

Florida Congressman Cory Mills is under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C., for an alleged assault involving Sarah Raviani, who shares his residence. The incident reportedly occurred in Mills' apartment, with Raviani initially calling law enforcement for a personal matter and later denying any physical altercation, attributing her bruises to medical conditions. Despite a police report alleging physical assault using 'hands/feet,' Mills has denied any wrongdoing, and no charges have been filed. An internal review is underway to assess MPD's response to the incident. Mills, a Republican representative for Florida’s 7th District, is a former Army combat veteran and chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Intelligence.
