Routh, who has over 100 criminal counts against him, was previously convicted in 2002 for possessing a weapon of mass destruction after a standoff with police involving a fully automatic machine gun. During the recent incident, he allegedly pointed an AK-47 at Trump, prompting a Secret Service agent to open fire.
