During a Fox News segment, V’landys emphasized the sport's toughness and suggested that Trump's presence would generate unparalleled publicity for rugby league in the U.S. The event, hosted at Allegiant Stadium, will feature multiple matches, including a women's Test match and a clash between NRL teams. V’landys highlighted Trump's love for physical sports and even joked about the U.S. trade surplus with Australia, framing Trump's attendance as a way to enhance that relationship. Former NRL player Aaron Woods supported the invitation by presenting a custom jersey with Trump's name. As of now, Trump has not publicly responded to the invitation.
