Newly surfaced documents reveal that President Donald Trump signed a personal inscription to Jeffrey Epstein in 1997 on a copy of his book Trump: The Art of the Comeback, writing, "To Jeff — You are the greatest!" Additionally, Trump is listed as a contributor to a leather-bound book compiled by Epstein's associate Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003, which reportedly included messages and photographs from Epstein's friends. The Wall Street Journal reported Trump also allegedly contributed a crude drawing to this birthday book, a claim Trump denies and has sued the Journal over, calling it fake news. Despite Trump's efforts to distance himself by stating he found Epstein a "creep" and had expelled him from Mar-a-Lago, the controversy has intensified, with a House committee voting to subpoena Epstein-related files amid ongoing investigations. Epstein's birthday book and related materials are reportedly in possession of Epstein's estate and may be turned over to federal authorities.
