Trump Frustrated as Iran, Israel Violate Ceasefire Amid Renewed Attacks
President Trump expressed frustration and unhappiness with both Israel and Iran after the ceasefire he brokered to end the 12-day conflict between the two countries was violated. Following an Iranian missile attack that killed at least four civilians in southern Israel, Israel responded with airstrikes against Iran, actions that Trump criticized as premature and excessive. Trump urged Israel not to retaliate further, warning against dropping bombs and calling for restraint to uphold the ceasefire agreement. Despite the Iranian foreign minister announcing acceptance of the ceasefire, continued missile launches after the designated ceasefire time highlighted the fragility of the deal. Trump also stated that Iran's nuclear capabilities are destroyed and asserted that Tehran will never rebuild its nuclear program. He conveyed his determination to try to stop the ongoing post-ceasefire attacks during his travel to the NATO summit.
