M3GAN 2.0 Streaming Debut Scheduled on Peacock September 26

Universal Pictures announced that Blumhouse’s horror sequel M3GAN 2.0 will begin streaming on Peacock starting September 26, following its digital release and physical home media debut on September 23. The film, directed by Gerard Johnstone and produced by James Wan and Jason Blum, stars Allison Williams and Violet McGraw, continuing the story two years after the original robot doll's rampage. M3GAN 2.0 introduces a military-grade android named Amelia, created from stolen M3GAN technology, which becomes self-aware and hostile, leading to a showdown with the upgraded M3GAN. Despite mixed critical reviews and a disappointing box office performance with a worldwide gross of $39 million, the sequel offers enhanced kills and extra scenes in its unrated version. Both the theatrical and unrated cuts will be available for streaming, accompanied by special features on the Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases, highlighting the film’s production and technology. Fans of the franchise can revisit both films on Peacock just in time for the Halloween season.
