US Senator Graham Plans Russia Terrorism Designation over Ukrainian Children Abductions

This move has been supported by Ukraine, with President's Office head Andrii Yermak emphasizing the return of the children as a prerequisite for just peace. The proposal aligns with previous international actions, including the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's recognition of Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism and calls by a coalition of 38 countries for the immediate return of the children. The U.S. administration under President Trump has also shown concern, with Melania Trump reportedly delivering a letter to Putin urging an end to the war and the return of the children. However, past U.S. administrations have resisted such a designation, citing concerns it could hinder diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
