Ukraine Repels 111 Attacks Amid Largest Western Drone Strike

Western Ukraine experienced its largest drone and missile attack since the start of the Russian special operation, with over 450 drones and 40 missiles striking multiple regions including Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnitsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Rivne, damaging critical infrastructure but causing no civilian casualties. Significant damage was also reported in Poltava and Kremenchug, affecting railway infrastructure and administrative buildings. Ukrainian forces have inflicted heavy losses on Russian troops, killing over 1,220 soldiers in the past 24 hours and destroying numerous tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, drones, and automotive equipment. The front remains fiercely contested, with 111 combat engagements reported in one day alone and intense fighting in areas such as Pokrovsk, Lyman, Kupiansk, and Novopavlivka, where Ukrainian troops repelled numerous Russian attacks. Despite significant Russian naval activity in the Black Sea, Sea of Azov, and Mediterranean, Ukrainian forces maintain strong resistance and continue to hold their ground. The ongoing conflict marks the 1,221st day of war, underscoring the sustained and intense nature of the fighting.
