Ukraine Russia Conduct Large-Scale Drone Missile Attacks Across Multiple Regions

Over the night of May 24-25, both Russia and Ukraine launched extensive drone and missile attacks against each other, intensifying the conflict. Ukraine conducted a large-scale attack using 367 air attack vehicles, including 298 Shahed-type drones, but Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 45 cruise missiles and neutralize 266 enemy drones across multiple regions, resulting in casualties among civilians including children. Conversely, Russian air defenses intercepted between 95 and 110 Ukrainian drones targeting various regions such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Moscow, leading to temporary airport closures in Moscow and no reported casualties from these interceptions. The Russian Defense Ministry highlighted that most Ukrainian UAVs were shot down over the Belgorod Region and stated that drone incursions have caused deaths and injuries, accusing Ukraine of terror attacks aimed at undermining peace talks. Russia pledged to limit its military response to Ukrainian drone raids strictly to military and defense industry targets. These exchanges underscore the ongoing aerial warfare tactics and escalating hostilities between Russia and Ukraine.
