The Trump family has taken legal action to halt an unauthorized cryptocurrency wallet project branded as the "Official $TRUMP Wallet," which was launched without their approval by Fight Fight Fight LLC and NFT marketplace Magic Eden. The wallet was designed to support the $TRUMP memecoin but faced immediate repudiation from President Trump's sons—Donald Jr., Eric, and Barron—who clarified that neither the Trump family nor the Trump Organization authorized or were involved with the project. World Liberty Financial, the Trump family's official crypto venture, issued cease-and-desist letters to the companies behind the wallet and emphasized that it is the only authorized entity to develop official Trump-branded crypto products. The unauthorized wallet's domain was taken offline following legal pressure, amid reports that its creators earned $320 million in fees while retail investors suffered losses. Despite previous collaborations between the Trump family and longtime associate Bill Zanker, who owns Fight Fight Fight LLC, the relationship appears strained due to this dispute. The Trump family is concurrently developing its own official crypto wallet through World Liberty Financial, reinforcing their commitment to controlling the Trump brand in the crypto space.
