Cowboys, Packers Tie 40-40; Parsons Returns

Micah Parsons returned to AT&T Stadium with the Green Bay Packers after an offseason trade as the game finished in a 40-40 tie on Sunday night. Dak Prescott completed 31-of-40 passes for 319 yards and multiple touchdowns and reportedly surpassed Troy Aikman’s franchise completions mark. Despite scoring 40 points, Dallas’ defense surrendered 489 yards and 40 points, leaving the club with the NFL’s top-ranked offense but one of the league’s worst defenses. Parsons pressured Prescott and afterward expressed frustration and disappointment with his and Green Bay’s overall performance while also praising Prescott. Parsons suffered a third-quarter back injury scare, briefly entering the medical tent for evaluation including a concussion check before returning; a lingering preseason back issue had already limited his snaps.
