Apple, Corning Expand U.S. Glass Production Partnership

Apple has announced a $2.5 billion investment to manufacture all iPhone and Apple Watch cover glass at Corning's Harrodsburg, Kentucky facility, marking the first time 100% of these components will be produced in the U.S. The expansion will double the local workforce and include an Apple-Corning Innovation Center focused on developing advanced materials for future products.
