Trump Organization Begins $1.5B Golf Resort Construction Vietnam

The Trump Organization, led by Eric Trump, has launched a $1.5 billion luxury resort and golf complex, Trump International Hung Yen, in Vietnam's Hung Yen province. The project covers around 990 to 1,000 hectares and features three 18-hole or 54-hole golf courses, luxury villas, a resort, and a residential complex, with completion expected between 2027 and 2029. The venture is a partnership with Vietnamese firm Kinhbac City Development Holding and is touted as the largest of its kind in East Asia, aimed at boosting regional tourism and economic development. Vietnam's Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony, emphasizing the project's importance in strengthening Vietnam-US relations and foreign investor confidence. Eric Trump praised Vietnam's real estate potential and is also exploring additional projects in Ho Chi Minh City, including a possible skyscraper. The development aligns with Vietnam’s broader strategy to attract US investment amid ongoing trade negotiations and tariff discussions with Washington.
