Saturday Night Live Announces Season 50 Cast Changes

Saturday Night Live (SNL) is gearing up for its 50th season with significant cast changes, promoting Marcello Hernandez, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker to the main cast while welcoming new featured players Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim, and Jane Wickline. The season premiere is set for September 28, followed by a celebratory primetime special on February 16, 2024. Chloe Troast, who joined SNL as a featured player last season, will not be returning, joining fellow cast exits Punkie Johnson and Molly Kearney. The anniversary season will also feature returning alumni, including Maya Rudolph reprising her role as Kamala Harris. SNL's impact on culture and music will be highlighted in documentaries produced by notable figures, including Questlove and Morgan Neville. Executive Producer Lorne Michaels has not confirmed whether this will be his last season, saying his decision will depend on how he feels.
