Oman, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Türkiye Expand Multisector Cooperation

Oman’s Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik conveyed a message to Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral and fraternal ties between the two nations across various sectors. Jordan’s Minister of Investment Tariq Abu Ghazaleh met with Uzbek Minister Laziz Kudratov to enhance economic and investment cooperation, highlighting trade growth opportunities and Jordan’s strategic position and reforms to attract investments. In Pakistan, Punjab Home Secretary Dr. Ahmad Javed Qazi and Türkiye’s Consul General Durmuş Baştuğ discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in security, technology, education, and industry, with Pakistan adopting Turkish models in prison reforms and law enforcement. Additionally, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan exchanged concerns over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, condemning Israeli military actions and calling for unimpeded humanitarian aid and accountability. These engagements reflect a broader regional focus on enhancing diplomatic, economic, and security collaborations while addressing pressing international humanitarian issues.
