Bronx School Bus Shooting Raises Safety Concerns

A school bus carrying students with special needs in the Bronx was caught in the crossfire of a shooting on the afternoon of March 21st, 2025. The bus was struck by at least three bullets near East 163rd Street and Trinity Avenue, but fortunately, no injuries were reported among the children or staff on board. The driver continued for half a mile to get the children to safety, while the bus matron shielded two students. Authorities report that the shooting involved four suspects dressed in black, who fled the scene on foot. The police are investigating possible gang activity as the motive behind the shooting, and no arrests have been made yet.
