This came after a review of a video featuring President Joe Biden, edited to depict him inappropriately touching his granddaughter, which did not violate Meta's policies as it was not produced using AI. The board insists Meta should label such manipulated media and refrain from removing it unless it violates their other harmful content policies. The board has also given Meta a 60-day deadline to respond to its recommendations.
