Upcoming Election Voting Deadlines Announced

With the upcoming elections on November 5, millions of Americans, including over 2.2 million in Georgia, have already cast their ballots through early voting, with absentee ballot requests numbering 320,000, of which 145,000 have been returned. In Georgia, absentee ballots must be requested by the deadline and arrive at county election offices by 7 p.m. on Election Day, although concerns about USPS delivery delays have been raised. Oneida County has processed over 11,000 absentee and early vote-by-mail requests since September, with voters having until October 26 to request a mail ballot. The Sarpy County Election Commission reminds voters of important deadlines, such as October 25 being the last day to request an early voting ballot by mail and November 4 the last day for early in-person voting.
