NC Senate Approves GOP Map Targeting Don Davis

North Carolina’s GOP-controlled Senate approved a mid‑decade congressional redistricting plan and sent it to the Republican-led House. The plan, drawn to flip the 1st District long represented by Black Democrats, would make Rep. Don Davis’s reelection much harder and could shift the state’s delegation toward an estimated 11–3 GOP edge.
