Kai Trump to Make LPGA Debut via Sponsor Exemption

Kai Trump, 18, granddaughter of Donald Trump and a senior at The Benjamin School in Florida, will make her LPGA Tour debut in mid-November at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club after receiving a sponsor exemption. The ANNIKA is the penultimate event on the LPGA schedule and will feature a strong field and a pro-am that includes WNBA star Caitlin Clark. Tournament officials and the LPGA framed her invitation as a way to spotlight emerging talent and draw younger audiences. Kai has committed to play collegiate golf at the University of Miami, built a large social-media following (over six million followers) through a popular YouTube channel, and launched an apparel and lifestyle brand aimed at young women in sports.
