California School District Seeks Federal Probe of ICE Agents Urinating on Campus

Surveillance footage from June 17 shows approximately 10 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents unlawfully entering Ruben Salazar High School in Pico Rivera, California, and urinating in broad daylight on storage containers near playgrounds and elementary school areas. School officials and district leaders, including El Rancho Unified School District and Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, have condemned the agents' actions as disrespectful, unlawful trespassing, and a violation of California law, especially given the proximity to minors. The agents did not provide any legal justification or judicial warrants for their presence on the school grounds and left only after being asked to do so by staff. The district has formally requested a federal investigation and the disclosure of the names, badge numbers, and supervisory details of all involved agents.
