Amazon Prime Video has secured exclusive rights for a documentary about incoming First Lady Melania Trump, directed by Brett Ratner and co-produced by Melania herself and Fernando Sulichin. The film, described as an 'unprecedented behind-the-scenes look,' aims to offer a unique perspective on Melania Trump’s life and is set for a theatrical and streaming release in 2025. This project marks Ratner's return to directing after allegations of sexual misconduct in 2017, which he has denied. The documentary coincides with a perceived warming of relations between Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump, following previous tensions during Trump's first term. Bezos has shown optimism about Trump's second term, despite past criticisms and controversies, including a decision not to endorse a presidential candidate in the Washington Post, owned by Bezos.
