Secretaries of state urge Elon Musk

The officials, from Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Washington, and New Mexico, highlighted that Grok incorrectly stated ballot deadlines had passed in nine states shortly after President Biden's withdrawal from the race. This misinformation reached millions of users and was not corrected for over ten days despite being available only to premium subscribers. The letter emphasizes the urgency for accurate voter information in a crucial election year, urging Grok to redirect users to verified voting resources. Concerns over X's moderation practices and Musk's political endorsements have intensified amidst fears of misinformation influencing voter behavior. X has not yet commented on the letter's demands.
