Under Armour Revenue Falls, Misses EPS Estimates
Under Armour reported a 4% year-over-year revenue decline to $1.13 billion for the recent quarter, with adjusted earnings per share of $0.02, missing Wall Street’s $0.03 estimate. North American sales dropped 5%, while international revenue decreased 1%, with notable declines in Asia-Pacific and Latin America partially offset by growth in EMEA. Despite improved cost management and a much narrower net loss compared to last year, the company forecasted a 6–7% revenue decline for the next quarter, worse than analyst expectations. Shares fell 13–14% on the weak outlook. Management is focusing on brand repositioning, premiumization, and operational discipline amid inflation, weaker consumer spending, and tariff uncertainty. The company is also implementing a restructuring plan to achieve further cost efficiencies.
