Brazilian Court Upholds Ban on Elon Musk's X

The court's unanimous support undermines Musk's portrayal of de Moraes as an authoritarian censor. Additionally, a daily fine of 50,000 reais ($8,900) was imposed for users accessing X via VPNs, raising questions among legal experts regarding its enforceability. This ruling intensifies the ongoing conflict between Musk and the Brazilian judiciary over issues of free speech and misinformation, with X having around 20 million users in Brazil. Musk, in response, has criticized de Moraes' actions, labeling them as unlawful and dictatorial.
