DOJ Activates Joint Terrorism Task Forces Nationwide Against Domestic Violence

Attorney General Pam Bondi has activated the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTFs) nationwide to target and investigate domestic terrorism, particularly acts of violence and obstruction against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and facilities. This action follows a series of violent incidents, including a shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas, and ongoing protests that have physically blocked ICE operations and endangered federal personnel. Bondi, backed by President Trump’s executive actions, has directed DOJ agents to deploy at ICE sites and authorized the pursuit of serious charges, including conspiracy, assault, civil disorder, and terrorism offenses, against those involved in these acts. The Department of Justice is coordinating efforts with the FBI, DEA, ATF, US Marshals Service, and Homeland Security to apprehend and remove illegal aliens and to protect federal property and personnel. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller praised the move as a necessary response to domestic terrorist sedition against the federal government, affirming the use of all necessary resources. The administration emphasizes that the rule of law will prevail against these threats and disruptions.
