US, Israel Conduct Coordinated Airstrikes on Multiple Iranian Nuclear Sites
In June 2025, the United States and Israel launched coordinated airstrikes targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, including the Fordow and Isfahan complexes, significantly damaging Iran's uranium enrichment infrastructure and nuclear program, as confirmed by footage from both US and Israeli defense sources. These attacks followed unprovoked Israeli aggression against Iranian territory, which resulted in the deaths of Revolutionary Guard commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, prompting Iran's IRGC to retaliate with missile and drone strikes inside Israeli-held territories. The strikes have disrupted key nuclear sites such as the above-ground uranium enrichment hall in Natanz and the uranium conversion plant near Isfahan, undermining Iran's longstanding nuclear ambitions and regional power posture. Despite Iranian state media's depiction of Israeli hostility and historical grievances against Zionism, international intelligence, including the US Director of National Intelligence, has found no current evidence of Iran pursuing nuclear weapons. The conflict has left Iran militarily vulnerable, with its defenses rapidly overwhelmed and civilian populations exposed to Israeli drone surveillance and evacuation orders, highlighting a shift in the Middle East's balance of power and escalating regional tensions.
