Nigerian Artists Nominated for 2024 Grammy Awards

The 2024 Grammy Awards will be held this weekend, and several Nigerian artists, including Taylor Swift, are nominated. Taylor Swift has been nominated for six awards and may score her 13th Grammy. Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, will not appear at the Grammys due to the Super Bowl. Davido, one of the biggest Nigerian stars, is also nominated for the 66th Grammy Awards and was filmed hanging out with American singers before the awards. Asake, another Nigerian artist, was the featured musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and was nominated for the newly created category, Best African Music Performance. Asake's performance on Colbert's Late Night Show recently went viral online.
