Nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds sold in the U.S. and Canada are being recalled due to safety concerns, as they can sag, break, or collapse during use, posing fall and injury risks. The recall affects beds manufactured between 2019 and 2021, with reports of 245 incidents and 18 injuries, including contusions and bruises. Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled beds immediately and contact Lucid for a free replacement frame. To identify the beds, consumers should look for a white law label on the back of the headboard. The beds were sold at major retailers such as Amazon and Walmart through April 2024 for prices ranging from $150 to $250. Consumers must mark the support rails with 'recalled' and send photos to Lucid to receive their replacement.
