UConn Legends, NBA Stars in 2025 Hall of Fame

Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025, recognized not only individually but also as part of the 2008 U.S. Olympic men's basketball team, known as the 'Redeem Team'. Joining them are WNBA legends Sue Bird, Maya Moore, and Sylvia Fowles, each celebrated for their significant contributions to the sport. Bird, the most decorated player in FIBA history, won four WNBA championships and five Olympic golds. Moore, who led the Minnesota Lynx to four championships, became a prominent social justice advocate post-retirement. The enshrinement ceremony is set to occur from September 5-6 in Uncasville, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts. This class is noted for its collective impact on both the NBA and WNBA, as well as their Olympic success.
