Trump, Paramount Standoff in CBS Lawsuit Mediation

Paramount's controlling shareholder, Shari Redstone, has recused herself from negotiations as she seeks regulatory approval for a potential Skydance merger. Legal experts have largely dismissed the lawsuit as lacking merit, but Paramount executives are concerned about the risk of settling. The dispute follows similar legal actions by Trump, including a $15 million settlement with Disney’s ABC News and actions against social media companies.
