Doral Council Approves Trump Condo Complex Plan

The Doral City Council has unanimously approved the Trump Organization's plan to develop a luxury condo complex at the Trump National Doral Miami resort. The $3 billion project will feature up to 1,498 residential units and 141,694 square feet of commercial space, spread across four 20-story towers. The project, backed by Trump Endeavor 12 LLC, aims to increase the city's property value and tax base, fitting into Doral's 2023 Strategic Plan for revenue growth. Despite initial opposition, the final approval came after a revised plan reduced the number of units from an original proposal of 2,500. The development will not impact existing golf courses but will be built on the southeast portion of the property, previously used for parking lots. Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, assured that the development is a long-term investment, not a short-term 'pump and dump' scheme.
