Early Voting Ends in Key States as Election Nears
Early voting has concluded in several key states across the U.S., including Rhode Island, Florida, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Texas, as the nation prepares for Election Day on November 5th. Rhode Island saw 142,030 early voters, with an additional 45,382 mail ballots submitted. In Connecticut, nearly 560,000 voters participated in early voting, a new option this year. Nationwide, around 75 million Americans have already cast their ballots, accounting for more than a third of total votes from the previous election cycle. Voters who have not yet participated still have the opportunity to vote in-person on Election Day, with polls opening at 7 a.m. in most states. Meanwhile, weather conditions remain favorable in many regions, supporting voter turnout.
