Richardson police have released dash cam and helicopter footage of a high-speed chase and shootout that ended with the death of the suspect, Donald Ingram, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The chase began when officers attempted to stop Ingram, who was linked to the homicide of his wife, Michelle Ingram, in Kaufman County. During the pursuit, Ingram fired at officers and one officer returned fire through his windshield. The chase ended near North Central Expressway in Dallas, where three unharmed children, aged 5, 15, and 17, exited the vehicle. A female passenger, shot multiple times by Ingram, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The incident is under investigation by the Dallas Police Department and the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.
