IDF Dismantles Hezbollah Complex in Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the dismantling of an underground Hezbollah compound hidden under a cemetery in southern Lebanon, with operations involving several military units and extensive use of concrete to seal the structure. The compound, which included command rooms and weapon storage, was located one and a half kilometers from the Israeli border and did not extend into Israel. Concurrently, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) condemned the IDF for allegedly destroying part of its property and violating international law by removing structures marking the Blue Line. The IDF denied these allegations, asserting that no activity occurred within UNIFIL positions.
