1,000+ Attend Yom Kippur Brooklyn Protest; About 56 Arrested

More than 1,000 people, led by Rabbis for Ceasefire, held a Yizkor service on Yom Kippur and marched to the Brooklyn Bridge to demand a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. Protesters carried banners reading “Not Another Bomb” and chanted “Let Gaza Live” as some sat and blocked lanes of traffic on the bridge.
