Fred. Olsen plans taller turbines for Crystal Rig Wind Farm

Fred. Olsen Renewables is hosting two drop-in events to discuss the repowering of the Crystal Rig Wind Farm in Scotland, which has been operational for over 20 years. The plan involves decommissioning 25 existing turbines and replacing them with up to 10 taller, more modern turbines measuring 250m. Meanwhile, small-scale wind turbines are gaining attention as a viable alternative to solar energy, particularly in urban settings.
