The debunked video, which purportedly depicted a Haitian immigrant planning to vote multiple times for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, was shared without any fact-checking and has since been deleted after gaining significant attention. Georgia officials confirmed the video was fabricated and part of a disinformation campaign orchestrated by Russian operatives, highlighting the ongoing use of social media to disseminate false narratives. Boikov, a registered foreign agent in Australia, is known for promoting pro-Kremlin disinformation and has been linked to various Russian influence operations. This incident raises concerns about the impact of foreign influence on the electoral process, particularly as the 2024 election approaches.
