U.S. F-35 Pilots Train in Multi-State Pacific Drills

The U.S. Navy conducted a Multi-Large Deck Event (MLDE) involving the USS Carl C. Vinson, FNS Charles De Gaulle, and JS Kaga near the Philippine Sea, showcasing joint naval operations and extensive cross-deck flight activities. The drills, which included aerial refueling and operation of various aircraft types from different carriers, aimed to enhance interoperability among the participating navies. Concurrently, the U.S. Air Force engaged in bilateral training exercises with South Korean forces, featuring B-1B bombers and F-35 fighters to bolster defense readiness against North Korean threats.
