GE HealthCare Raises 2025 EPS Forecast After Q3 Beat
GE HealthCare beat third-quarter estimates with adjusted EPS of $1.07 (GAAP $0.98) and revenue of $5.14 billion, up 6% year-over-year (4% organically) with organic orders up 6%. By segment, Imaging revenue was $2.35 billion (up 5%), AVS was $1.3 billion (up 7% with EBIT up 17%), Pharmaceutical Diagnostics was $749 million (up 20% with EBIT up 14%), and Patient Care Solutions declined to $731 million with sharply lower EBIT. Net income margin narrowed to 8.7% (down 100 basis points); the company reported positive operating and free cash flow and held $4.03 billion in cash, cash equivalents and investments. GE HealthCare raised its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $4.51–$4.63 (raising the lower end) and reaffirmed a free cash flow target of at least $1.4 billion, while saying new U.S. tariffs on India and certain metal products will shave roughly $0.45 of EPS. Management highlighted robust capital-equipment demand, flagged about a 3% sales decline in China tied to anti-corruption actions and delayed stimulus, and announced intent to acquire icometrix.
