Hasbro Raises 2025 Revenue Forecast After Strong Q3 Growth
Hasbro reported a better-than-expected third quarter, with GAAP EPS of $1.64 and adjusted EPS of $1.68, and revenue of about $1.39 billion, roughly an 8% year-over-year increase that topped consensus. Growth was led by Wizards of the Coast and Magic: The Gathering, whose segment revenue rose ~42% and Magic sales surged ~55% on new releases and strong catalog performance. Operating profit and margins improved—driven by record Magic performance, cost discipline and operating leverage—with Wizards achieving very high margins and overall operating profit rising year-over-year. Management raised its fiscal‑2025 outlook, now forecasting high-single-digit revenue growth in constant currency and raising adjusted EBITDA guidance to $1.24–$1.26 billion (up from $1.17–$1.20 billion). The company noted softness in its traditional Consumer Products business due to U.S. retailer order timing and broader tariff/manufacturing pressures but said it has managed tariff volatility, maintained its quarterly dividend, and saw shares trade higher after the results.
