Italian producer Andrea Iervolino is developing a high-budget, $100 million biopic about Donald Trump, aiming to start production in the U.S. by late 2025. The film intends to present a more favorable and balanced portrayal of Trump’s life and legacy, spanning his rise as a real estate mogul, television personality, and his terms as the 45th and 47th President of the United States. This project follows last year's Oscar-nominated biopic "The Apprentice," which depicted Trump in a critical light and faced opposition from his legal team. Iervolino, known for producing biopics such as "Ferrari" and "Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend," emphasizes exploring the challenges and resilience of Trump, while aiming for an artistically ambitious film. The producer’s company has not confirmed whether Trump has been contacted for approval, but the collaboration includes Keya Morgan, a Trump supporter with a controversial background. Iervolino plans to present the film at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival to attract partners and finalize casting.
