Starting November 15, all legal disputes with X must be handled in courts located in Texas, which are perceived as more conservative-friendly, raising concerns about free speech and bias. Lemon previously attempted to launch a show on X, but the deal fell through amid tensions with Musk. In addition to his concerns over the terms of service, Lemon has criticized the platform's shift away from promoting honest debate and free speech. Following his announcement, Lemon plans to increase his presence on other social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Bluesky. The Guardian has also decided to stop posting on X, citing similar concerns about the platform's environment and influence on political discourse.
