Fort Worth Police Investigate Two Officer Shootings

Fort Worth police are investigating two separate incidents involving officer shootings within an eight-hour span. In the first incident, officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Westgate Drive where a man, identified as Brandon Zachary Adame, charged at them with knives, prompting officers to open fire, resulting in his death. No officers or civilians were injured, and the Major Case Unit along with Internal Affairs are conducting an investigation. In the second incident, officers responded to reports of a man with a gun at an apartment complex on John T. White Road. The suspect fled, leading to a foot chase where an officer fired shots but did not injure him before he barricaded himself in an apartment and was later apprehended. Both incidents are under active investigation to ensure protocol compliance.
