Prince Andrew Faces Potential FBI Investigation Over Epstein Links

Prince Andrew is facing renewed scrutiny following the emergence of emails suggesting he maintained contact with Jeffrey Epstein long after he claimed to have severed ties. Kashyap Patel, nominated by Donald Trump to lead the FBI, has vowed to investigate all individuals linked to Epstein's sex trafficking operations, emphasizing that child sex trafficking 'has no place in the US'. The emails indicate that Andrew promised Epstein they would 'play some more soon' in February 2011, contradicting his assertion during a 2019 BBC interview that he ceased contact in December 2010. This new evidence has prompted calls for the FBI to reopen its investigation into Andrew, which had been paused in 2024. Additionally, documents revealed that Andrew's former aide described his BBC interview as 'hugely ill-advised and unsuccessful'.
